android 10 and share screen only message...

This is a question for Ester really.

WE are experimenting with using teamviewer to remotely controll a recording device for a year long Amazon TV production involving a major Football team.

Our andriod 9 Samsung Tab A 8.0 was working fine with TV an a couple of other recorder specific app we had.

It appears theat since the tablet automatically upgraded to Android 10 we have lost access and are informed that " the device supports screen sharing only"?

IF this is an Android thing, can we find out if there is a Teamviewer software upgrade imminent as our project starts in September 14...if not we can always go back to android 9...

  • I have the same problem.
    I have more than 500 devices in a Mining client with old versions of Android. As of version 10, it is only possible to mirror the screen (this device supports only screen sharing). This makes it impossible to solve problems.
    I have TeamViewer versions 12 and 15.

    How to proceed to resume access with the remote work function?
