Max processor state too low to connect

Hello,

I was experimenting with max processor state on my host laptop, then left it for a while. When I came back the connection had gone. It turned out I had not plugged in the power lead properly, so I had family who were still present plug it in and turn it on again. When it appeared in my list again I assumed all was good, so I left it.

Now I can't log in anymore, because the max cpu setting on the host device is at 30% (I think). There is no way I can get at it for months now, it's just sitting there idling. I'd like to at least shut it off so it's not wasting energy. Is there a way to give it more time to authenticate, as that's what's understandably now being cancelled, I assume due to a timeout.
