Unfortunately, you cannot cancel your subscription on the Community.
The only way to cancel is to submit a ticket via this link: Open a ticket now!

For your security, all cancellations must be submitted in written form, by submitting a ticket. Written requests must be received by TeamViewer at least 28 days before the end of the initial subscription term or any subscription renewal term.

I have requested a cancellation (of Mobile Support) by email & phone within the 7 days following purchase. The sales associate never mentioned having to create a ticket.
Yesterday, I was told I would need to creat a ticket. Immediately following this call, I created a ticket yesterday.
After creating a ticket, I received an email acknowledging said ticket. However, I never received a response. I noticed that the ticket, after 13 hours, has been closed, with no explanation or any response, either by the case itself, or email, or by phone.
I have requested a refund through my credit card company. They responded instantaneously.
Your software solution that I use seems rock-solid. Tech support has also been helpful when I can reach it. But Sales & Customer Support now seems devastatingly poor. I just simply do not understand how hard it has been to get this resolved - but I sure feel like I've been ghosted. I'm on the verge of recommending other remote control options other than Teamviewer.
I can only full agree to all the previous poster.
It's really difficult and very user unfriendly that you can't easily cancel the subscribtion!
I will never buy any product from you as long as it's not easy possible to cancle the renew!
They keep removing my reply for some reason but google illegal cancelation policies in your state. what they are doing is illegal and I had to send this to my legal team to get it cleared up.

I got an answer.You have to register your teamviewer's key into your account. I don't remember how I've done that but you can find it in less than 15min.
But you really need the keys they have send when you have bought the soft.When you have registered your keys, you will not be redirected to the community forum but in another website where you can send a ticket for cancellation.

For the record:
I never had a worse software support experience in 20+ years.
Customers HAVE to be notified if a software company stops its service unless they pay. In particular if TV is at fault and a mistake needs to be corrected on the spot and not days or weeks later. The timeframe of fixing the issue without prior notification makes the whole argument from Teamviewer flawed.
By the way, I called your support. It was useless and counter productive.
Just to be clear: I suspect that the next step will be to meet TV or credit representatives in court and ask for damages for abusive commercial tactics and reimbursement of the unwarranted license fee.

So how do you cancel License?
I'd like to delete my subscription + account, but whenever I try to create a ticket I get redirected back to the homepage. we pay €330 a year for this and it does not even work! I'd like to speak to a employee of anyone whose responsible of the accounting and or the accounts of customers.. this is really frustrating! why can't I even self delete my subscription.. earning of dead account or people who don't use the software isn't loved anymore in 2021!

I now have a new Teamviewer Corporate license and want to get rid of my 2 old Teamviewer Premium licenses that are being replaced by my corporate license.
However it seems to be impossible to cancel the Premium subscriptions.
When i spent an hour and 20 minutes on hold with your support line, i got disconnected right at the end when i was 1st in the queue.
When i go to try and log a ticket, in the blink of an eye it redirects here to these forums.
So flipping frustrating!
To cancel a subscription you should be able to do it in the account section of your login, like you can with pretty much all other software.
Such a scam company. Same happened to me. It impossible to cancel their service and they want you to keep paying. No one answers the phone and you get no real responde of customer support. Stay away as far as possible of this company. Complete scam!

On this utterly useless site
I've been forced to pay for a service/product I won't be using for the next year because of this company's predatory policy.
I had thought I canceled this service after I returned from Iraq. I know I had put in the ticket. Fast forward 8-9 months and out of the blue I start getting payment notices - pay up or else. I'm told that there was an email reminder (a single reminder) sent the 24 hours prior to the "28 day" requirement, but I didn't see it. Probably went to spam which Google Gmail will be nice and delete after 30 days.
Of course the company insisted I pay - or else.
So - The only way for me to get my money's worth is to ensure that no one else falls into this trap as well. Very few businesses will force you to pay for a service you don't want or can't use. This is because people like me will basically warn other people off their company for these underhanded practices. Additionally, I'm employed in a mid-to-high position in our military. Anyone comes asking me (and they do) about this company's solutions or products or service, I'm naturally going to tell them about this bad experience. I figure that if my experience can steer a customer or two away from this company, then I will have done the public a service. Which is why these policies are stupid - in the end this policy will cost more business than it will get in money from **bleep** customer. I certainly won't be a repeat customer.
Make sure your account is canceled. Make sure you retain proof. Not just a ticket submitted email - but something that declares your account canceled. Do not trust this company.
November 3rd 2024 - I'm having the same experience. Email send directly to sales agent. IGNORED. Ticket opened with support IGNORED. Only criminals and con artists operate this way.
