Teamviewer license for end users

Dear community,

I'm pretty sure that I have looked everywhere for the answer to this simple question, and yet have to find it. Probably my mistake by not using the correct terms.

But I have only one question: We purchased the licence that allows up to 3 simultaneous connections to our 150+ end users in case of need of support. But these licences are only for the administrators/techs are they not? If so, then do the 150+ end users use a free licence to get TeamViewer going on their machines or do we have to install the licence to each and every computer that we need to monitor with the program?

Any advice would be apreciated, thanks!

Alex

Re: Teamviewer license for end users

Hi @AlexB

Thanks for your question.

Yes - you only need to activate the license on the TeamViewer Accounts of the administrators/supporters and the end users/customers are just having a un-licensed version of TeamViewer.

In general: Only one side of a connection needs a license.

Maybe it makes sense to deploy a TeamViewer Host in your organization to make it super easy to support your end users.

Hope this helps you.

Best, Esther
