I have been a TeamViewer (TV) user (personnel use) but I am developing now a desktop app that I think to put at the market. As I am not a true programmer (do stuff by googling) I hired a freelancer to redesign my poor screens and he asked me to have a TeamViewer session to see my app running. Just few minutes later several windows were open and closing too quickly and I could no see what he was doing. After this he was no more interested at the demo and the session was closed.
The following day I decided to see the logs and I noticed ip addresses from different countries (VPN typical) 4 or 5 hours after the session. I got concerned and uninstalled TeamViewer.
As a former CIO I know it is impossible to be 100% safe so even TV can be hacked even more I had no the security extensions that are advisable. As I intend to use TV professional if I begin to sell my app I need to know my weaknesses.
In short, I ask you to look at the log and say if I was hacked. The session was at 14.21 and finished at 14:34. I was not using TV at 17:06 where begin a lot of entries.
