Questions re. Remote access 2nd Session / Ability to track connections
A friend of mine was tricked into giving access to a fraudulent Microsoft helpdesk using TeamViewer. I have two questions:
1 -- With TeamViewer, is it possible to open a 2nd session to a computer and perform actions that the primary user can not see?
2 -- Given the code and the date of the incident, can support track the connections and provide some information on the fraudulent party? (we have the police report and can seek any permission from authorities)
Thanks

Hello @Soroush
Thanks for your post.
We are sorry to hear your friend experienced such a situation.
Regarding your questions:
- TeamViewer does not have any "incognito" or behind-the-scenes actions that can be taken. Anything the remote user does would appear on your friend's screen. If the remote user moves the mouse, opens any app, or takes any other action, your friend would see everything. This includes opening a second session - the second session would show the same desktop and actions as the first.
- Please report such a case here, so the appropriate team may assist in any information from the sessions:

Hello @Soroush,
1) No, TeamViewer only mirrors the remote screen to the local screen. Therefore, as long as the Black screen feature is not enabled, all actions are visible.
