Remote Lap top program pop up

When closing the teamviewer program on the remote laptop, we are getting a pop up asking to buy a license, rate us, close.

Well once we close the program and that pop up occurs, there is not way to close it and it is freezing our programs.

First, why is that there, and second how can we prevent it from even showing it's ugly head when closing the program?

Basically, there is no possibility to deactivate it because it's part of the free version.

However, it shouldn't freeze and you should be able to close it.

Have you tried to restart TeamViewer and try again?

Thank you for your response. I figured as much that this being a free version it was responsible.

Here's the issue, we have not used Team Viewer in the past because, well, we really don't need to. However, we are a photo booth company that in this one instance, we need this service. My wife and I are hosting a family reunion at a local hotel this week and we have one of our booths in a private room. I have been turning the booth program on/off in the mornings and evening so as not to burn out our screens. The booth is locked so that no hotel employees or guests could make off with our stuff...When I exit the remote team viewer program, we get that pop up and the only way we have determined we can turn it off on the booth laptop is to be physically present, unlock the cabinet and turn it off via the interior lap top.

If we don't do this, the pop up remains and the photo program does not work. I can't see buying this service for a one time deal such as this week.

Thanks for telling the whole story.

Technically, you should be able to close the pop-up...

To fix it, I recommend these steps:

1) Uninstalling TeamViewer and deleting all entries of the registry.

2) Reinstalling TeamViewer with the latest version:

So you know this is the beta or free version but how are we to determine the quality of this product if we can't make it work how it should without buying it????

Does not one have a remedy, other than purchasing a license, to solve this issue???
