Is the Android APK for TeamViewer Remote Control compatible with Android TV? Tried installing it but failed... Any chance of a future (or past...) version being compatible with that OS?

Sorry but this thread is aimed to controlling an Android TV from a PC.
My problem is exactly the reverse: installing the Android APK for Teamviewer Remote Control on an Android TV to access and control a remote PC . As far as I tried, the Android APK for Teamviewer Remote Control fails to install on a Philips Android TV, thus my question is if a previous (or future ...) version of that APK will be available to be installed on an Android TV to access and control a remote device.

Indeed, it is currently not possible to remote control from an Android TV.
