Connecting from Mac to Windows 11 PC cant control anything on screen

Hi I am connecting from a new macbook to my Windows 11 PC. It has been working well but suddenly when I connect from my Mac I can't control anything on my Windows PC? I can see the screens but it is as if my remote mouse and key pad don't work. I have checked all the permissions and it all seems fine.
