Change company administrator email address

hello all.

We use two company administrator accounts, myself and my boss, and we both use a different email address.

The TeamViewer account that all machines link to are under his email address.

So once I create a new TV installation using this linked account, I am not able to "see" these machines in the TeamViewer management console when I log in using my email address, until he gives me access.

So my question is this, if we changed the TeamViewer account email address to something generic like 'tvadmin@blah.com' and we both shared this, would the new email address flow down to the existing teamviewer connections or would we have to relink them all?

I see the questions here are about 1) access to the endpoint machines and 2) TeamViewer account administration. Let me break it down and share some suggestions.

1) Since all endpoint machines are saved under the boss account, Group sharing is the easiest action at the moment. It is all about sharing the particular groups with full permissions from the boss account to your TeamViewer account then you can access those devices.

💡Hint: You will be able to see a white cloud ☁ next to the group via TeamViewer when it has been shared successfully.

2) It would be great if you have a generic administrative account setup within the same company profile. In any emerging situation, the generic administrative account would be backup account access for saving the whole company profile.

And we need to ensure all the important groups with contacts and devices are shared properly between each account.
