Purpose of "Run Only" Installation

Hi there, could someone tell me the purpose of the Run Only installation option? For example, why would a user choose it over the Default installation?

Initially I had the impression it was for some sort of single-use or non-write installation of TeamViewer, but I see it installs a TeamViewer directory under the user's profile (in Windows at least) and I'm able to use it multiple times.

About the description on TeamViewer Run-Only, you are correct about the main purpose of one-off usage of TeamViewer software. The major difference between Run-Only and installation is the *EXE file does not save in the device. In other words, TeamViewer program will not be available under Windows Services if you selected TeamViewer as Run-Only. It is the same concept for TeamViewer QuickSupport.

If you do see a TeamViewer installed in your device after you have done Run-Only on TeamViewer, we would recommend you to uninstall the current TeamViewer installed version in your device completely, then try again to have TeamViewer as Run-Only.
