Teamviewer 15.36.8, 64-bit, personal (free) license, on Windows 11 22H2.
I read TeamViewer's link to "Password Best Practices", and there was no mention of a length limit for personal passwords.
I set up a personal password, using a randomly-generated string of 20 characters. I pasted that into the user interface, and there were 20 black dots, as I expected. The UI said "Strong password". Good.
I closed out of the screens, then I looked around some more for the password length limit, and couldn't find one. I opened the "Options/Advanced" setting again and there were 10 black dots. Huh? When I put my cursor into the field, it said "Weak password". If the "same" password was strong before, why is it weak now?
And WHERE is the max password length DOCUMENTED for personal passwords? Surely that's something that should be listed somewhere.
Is there a length of 10? If so, why so short? And why show 20 black dots in the UI if only 10 of them will be used? And please document this.
Thanks for any help.
