From what you have shared about the remote connection, it looks like the remote device is not supported by remote control.
May you check if the remote mobile device is on the supported manufacturer list with TeamViewer, and if it is an Android device. A comprehensive guide - FAQ : Remote control for Android - TeamViewer Support also prepared for all the users to know about the similar issue.
If that is the case the remote mobile device is iOS, TeamViewer may deliver the remote screen-sharing at the moment.
