    How can prove to TeamViwer that im not using it for comercial use . Becouse i only use it to help my friends and it won't alow me to do it anymore and it says that im using it for comercial work

    it even can be proven by seing that i only conect to users near me +-5km

    I'm having the same issue. I do not use TW for business and they've locked me out. Please fix this, Teamviewer.

    I have ended my license from Payed to Free as my company is now closing down.
    But why can't I use teamviewer to helt my father-in-law any more?

    Hi,

    Since a few days, my connections (sessions) are aborted because of limited time, even though I have a free account which is legally used to perform help family and a few friends.

    Can you explain to me why this is?

    Before this I could use this free account without any time-limits.

    Now the time period is that short I cant even try to investigate the problems of others.

    I am using teamviewer only in a personal, non-business environment.

    like many others, despite only using TV occasionally and for the same contacts every time it seems I have been incorrectly deemed to be a commercial user…. I submitted a reset request last week but have not heard anything yet

  • Guys, it's blatantly obvious they are doing this to steal your personal info. Otherwise the form wouldn't be so detailed. In the past it was enough to send one request via email, now it's… this. They are doing shady and potentially illegal stuff. It's insane how greedy this thing has become. It used to be a cool piece of software, now they grew too large to let any single dollar pass. They flood you with ads and now they do this.

    They are obliged to inform you what they do with the data they gather. Obviously, they will lie. But you should demand this information anyway so that they go criminal when they start selling your personal data.

    My parents bought a new computer, and moved to another country, I tried he helping them set up their computer but TeamViewer is saying that I'm using the application for commercial purposes when I only use it to help my parents how can I let him viewer that is only to help my loved ones? I also help them with their cell phones and last time I tried to help it did not allow me. please help. It locked me out.

    I actually got the same issues here. It always says that I use it in a commercial way. I already filled out a form and submitted it. Then I got notified that my account got unlocked but since then it still shows the warning and disconnects me. Is there any chance to enable my account again please?

    Team Viewer limits time due to commercial use

  • I downloaded Team to install for personal use but when installing I mistakenly installed it for the company so now when using the software to connect to another computer it only allows 30 seconds of use. I need instructions to fix this problem.

    I appreciate it was free, I appreciate it is christmas but no response whatsoever is unacceptable.🤬

    Hi, my account has been limited to one minute only and it says I have been using the software commercially which is not true. I am helping my parents abroad maybe once a week or less.

    I don't use it enough to purchase a license.

    How to get rid of the limitations?

  • I "survived" a reboot, this time! Thanks, TV! I wonder why some people are not being reset? I would much rather use FREE TV than the other G product mentioned that "they" keep bleeping out. It is a "decent, but featureless" alternative…IF TV IS NOT WORKING.

    I STILL SAY THANKS TO TV FOR THE MANY YEARS OF FREE *PERSONAL* USE!!!

  • I have a free TV, used only for a home, to help family members remotely scan, print, or email. However, after establishing a remote connection, the connection get interrupted, and I am getting a popup window asking to obtain a commercial license

  • Hi, I have remotely control a computer once, I tried to remotely control yesterday, it shows the message that the commercial use detected , I have no clue what it is about, I recall that probably my previous company use TeamViewer to support my personal computer which I worked from home, I have left my job since April 2024. Can you please find out what's going on.

    When logged in I see "Fee license (personal use only)" but remote control sessions only last about 2 minutes. When it times out, I get a message saying "Your current TeamViewer plan does not include connection to customized TeamViewer modules." I'm not sure what the issue is since I've been using TeamViewer within the last 6 months successfully. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hello, I’m using TeamViewer for some years now for remote access to my computer. I have free license, but now suddenly every relation end in appx 1 minute. On my mobile where I access to computer I see notification about problem with partners license (I’m using one account on both, mobile and computer). Is there any new updates or what’s happened ?

    I have the free version for home use. recently it works only for 30 seconds. then the connection is disrupted. is that normal behavior of the application?

  • Now I have the same problem - I try to connect from my notebook to my PC, but it says: "It seems there might be a licensing problem …" But I use Teamviewer only private. Honestly, it's annoying. So how to fix it?

    I use my free account to connect to my remote computer a few times a month. Recently, TeamView started prompting me about a license; I thought the free license should cover connecting to my remote PC for about 30-60 minutes a month.

    Could you please check why I am being prompted for a License?
