quicksupport to iphone is "read only"

hi. supporting from windows 10 PC to iphone. I can see the iphone screen, but cannot control it. When I try, I get "video feedback" (don't know how to describe it). get a small window in the upper right of the screen which itself contains a smaller copy which itself contains a smaller copy… ad infinitum. On the PC I can see what's on the iphone, but I can't do anything, even chat, to put anything ONTO the iphone.
