I'm using QuickSupport and the TeamViewer Desktop application (free version) to remotely connect to a Windows server 2022 jumphost of my homelab.
Everything runs OK most of the time, but I recently stumble upon some issue with QuickSupport.
At some point, I cannot connect anymore to the jumphost, I investigated the QuickSupport log files on my jumphost, and the error is the following:
2025/05/09 09:25:43.366 2240 1356 G1!! DesktopProcessConfigurationWin: exe C:\Users\ADMINI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\1\TeamViewer\TeamViewer_Desktop.exe not found or not valid!, Errorcode=2
I checked the folder, and the TeamViewer_Desktop.exe was indeed missing. Looks like the folder got cleaned.
I can usually reconnect to the jumphost after I relaunch QuickSupport, and when I do, the TeamViewer_Desktop.exe can be found in the C:\Users\ADMINI~1\AppData\Local\Temp\1\TeamViewer\ folder.
I've looked for days on the web but could not find an answer… Has any of you encountered a similar issue?
