Host - Unable to assign account to Manage - "This account uses third party authentication"

Trying to deploy custom host modules to some remote machines. After the host is installed I am trying to assign my account to manage the hosts but I am receiving the "this account uses third party authentication" error. I see no other option to sign in, and I missing something?
