I'm using then free version of Team Viewer to support my elderly parents who live several hours aways with basic support for things like paying bills etc. We used TV successfully dozens of times but the last few times I've had trouble connecting. I was able to fumble my way through it but now seem to be unable to and I think I'm hitting the security lockouts for too many attempts. We had mostly been using the connection method where they give me the ID and password to connect. Maybe a year ago I set it up so I could connect without them needing to be involved . . .and if I recall I also set up some sort of push MFA, so someone else couldn't connect. Now I can't seem to figure out how to connect with either the old or new client UI, using any of the methods.
I'm running MacOS Sequoia with TV ver. 15.61.4
They're running some slightly older Mac OS with probably 2 year old version of TV (I'd have to drive there to update it)
Whenever I try to connect it stays on "Authenticating . . . "
They are clicking allow on their side and nothing
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?
