Hi - I run elderly Macs with TeamViewer and it looks like one of them has been hacked. 'Trusted Device' requests are coming for DE and AT with unspecified IP addresses.
I can't get into the TV account involved to get support.
Status update: I logged a case (#54851104) with TeamViewer Support and they responded promptly with the following:There is a known issue that device IP not being forwarded to the service provider for trusted device emails. The IPs displayed are from the service provider instead. Your issue has been escalated to our development team, and we will update you as soon as we have more information.
We're encountering this issue too, and I think it is a bug in the Trusted Devices system. When we sign in to confirm our trusted device the IP address doesn't match the IP address that we're connecting from. I'm connecting from Australia and it's reporting as an Austrian (AT) connection. When I tried the other day it reported as a German IP (DE). As shown in screen grab below IP address is reported as [removed per Community Guidelines], which is not an Australian IP address. We have tested this with multiple computers from different internet connections.
IP Location lookups suggest this IP address is associated with https://anexia.com/ . Does TeamViewer have services hosted by this provider?
