Can’t CONNECT

I set up a remote access TeamViewer Host app for my android box when I was home but now that I moved to a different city, it doesn't connect from my mac and it's on based on what the ring camera shows, also the credentials are the same. Does it need to be on the same network or is it a different issue?

so. I just returned to my android box and I found the issue, for some strange reason, it logged me out which never happened . Hopefully it doesn't happen again and thanks.

Thank you for the additional information.

Could you please check the manufacturer of your Android TV box? To use the full functionality of TeamViewer remote sessions, the device must be supported by TeamViewer. You can find a list of compatible manufacturers here.

Do you see any error message when you try to initiate a remote session? If so, please share a screenshot. It would also help if you could share the screenshot that shows which button you clicked when attempting to start the remote session.

In the meantime, please try the following troubleshooting steps:

Update TeamViewer to the latest version (the full client on the local side and the Host app on the remote side)
Restart TeamViewer services
If possible, restart both devices and ensure the operating systems are up to date
If the issue persists, uninstall and reinstall the TeamViewer modules on both sides

Hi, the mac version is Version: 15.73.5 and thats the one I'm controlling from, not sure what version is the one on the android tv box as im not close to the device but it did work the day I left and now it just doesnt connect and looking from my camera, I can clearly see the devices is on and connected.

First, I’d like to confirm that both devices are fully compatible with TeamViewer. Could you please share the operating systems and versions of the local device (the one being controlled) and the remote device (the one initiating the connection)?
