I try to install and setup the teamviewer_amd64.deb on a headless linux server.
The download and installation runs without any problem. But the setup fails after entering the account password with "sign in failed - reason unknown" response.
I have a windows server at the same serverprovider with teamviewer running fine, so provider infrastructure, provider firewall and teamviewer user issues are excluded.
I already tried Ubuntu and Debian destributions to exclude compability reasons.
I set apparmor to complain mode to exclude software app blocking.
I checked the linux firewall rules for all directions for "accept" to exclude software firewall blocking.
I found a hint that teamviewer deamon should bound to port 5938 after the deamon is started. Is that port correct? If yes, then the teamviewer deamon seems not to be able to bind to this port. netcat ("nc") can bind to port 5938.
The journalctl log has no new content after a sign in attempt. The log only tells "deamon started".
Has someone a idea or hint? For me "teamviewer_amd64.deb" looks broken. I cant see any logical reason why teamviewer cannot resolve the credentials.
