Why Easy Access not working?

I have two computers (an old and a new one). Easy Access has been set up on the old one for a long time, and it works without a password.
I installed Teamviewer on the new computer and set up Easy Access, but it still asks for a password. All the settings on both computers are identical.
Why isn't Easy Access working on the new one?

First, it would be helpful to complete this checklist before trying out an easy access connection:

We would like to suggest you to update TeamViewer to the latest version on both of your devices. You can update TeamViewer via the instructions here: Update TeamViewer
Also, could you check if your new device is assigned to your TeamViewer account? For your setup to work fully on easy access, this is an important step. Here is our guidance on Adding a new device to your account.

Now, for an easy access connection please follow these steps:

Please go to Devices from the left navigation pane.
Display All managed devices.

3. Double-click on the device you wish to connect to.

Here, the Easy Access option will be shown when your setup is complete.

4. Alternatively, after checking the box of the device you wish to connect, there will be multiple Connect buttons displayed. Please try connecting using these options:

Yes, you can establish a connection with easy access when you move your devices to My Managed Devices. With the new UI, easy access is only possible to be configured for managed devices.

Currently, free users can have up to 3 managed devices as announced in TeamViewer Remote’s Free Version Redesign.

For licensed users, the number of managed devices may vary according to your subscription plan.

If you wish both computers to behave the same way, you just need to be sure they are migrated, see here Migrate your devices, to configure your account with easy access.

So, for new computer Easy Access works only from the "My Managed Devices" group and doesn't work in other groups, like "My Computers"? But for old computer it still works from both groups.
With each update, the user interface gets worse. Why make it so complicated that you have to contact technical support?
