Hi everyone,
I am hoping to get some advice on how to resolve a licensing issue.
The Situation:We recently tested the TeamViewer Business trial for 30 days. After the trial ended, we decided not to purchase a subscription and intended to revert to the free version.
The Problem:We are currently unable to make any connections. The app displays the following error message:
"Sorry, connection are blocked. This device is blocked by an expired trial license. Please buy a license to continue using TeamViewer."
What we have tried:We understand this happens when a device is flagged as commercial. We have already submitted the official ID Reset / "Commercial Use Suspected" form to request a reset to the free version.
However, the issue persists, and we are still blocked by the expired trial notice.
My Questions:
- Is there a specific timeframe for the ID reset to take effect?
- Do we need to reinstall the software in a specific way to remove the old trial license files (we are using MacOS Tahoe)?
- Is there any other step required to "deactivate" the trial on the local machine?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
