Online computers show up in the Disconnected group

I have for a while used the new interface, basically because of the "Disconnected" group in the Devices section. Now ALL computers are visible in this group, both online and offline ones (Connected/disconnected)

This behaviour is new to me. Recent update? Bug?

Anyway, that makes this grouping less useful. I have to scroll through a long list of computers in order to spot the offline ones, which I earlier could do in seconds.

I can confirm what @KWBEngineering says. I have also upgraded both my controlling computer and the clients. (They are upgraded automatically, as I have kept the default behaviour)

No change so far, I'm afraid. My disconnected list still shows all computers regardless of state.

Hi @AndersHB and @KWBEngineering, thanks for your follow-up.

Our product team has addressed this behavior, and it should now be resolved. Please update TeamViewer on all affected devices to the latest version 15.74.5.

With this version, your devices should appear in the correct groups again.

Hello-

I am experiencing this same issue since the last update. In the "basic" view every single one of my clients devices now shows up in the "Offline" group regardless of their actual status. As AndersHB stated it is unrealistic to un-install and re-install EVERY SINGLE ONE of the client's Teamviewer packages. Please advise a realistic solution.

This behaviour began after last upgrade. I run version 15.74.4 on Windows 11, and it was installed on january 30.

Clients are running full host on Win 11.

They (70+ unattended PCs) are located on remote places over a vast area, and I can not reinstall remotely, obviously.

Rebooting the clients makes no difference. Done several times already.

We checked this behavior again, and on our side the Offline group still shows only offline devices when using the Basic view. Because your online devices appear in that group, it may be related to the local installation or version you’re running.

To better understand what’s happening, please share a few details:

Which TeamViewer version are you using?
Which operating system is this on?
Are the affected devices running Full Client, Host, QuickSupport, or are you viewing them via the web app?

What you can do in the meantime:

Restart the affected device.
If the behavior continues, run a clean uninstall following the steps in our Knowledge Base: Uninstall TeamViewer
Perform a fresh installation using the download instructions here: Download and install TeamViewer

This helps rule out cached behavior or an outdated component. Let me know if it worked or if you have any further questions.

Thanks for your answer, but i think you did not answer my question. I have discovered this behaviour, and prefer Basic view because of this.

The problem is that recently (this or previous week) online computers began to show up also in the disconnected ("Frakoblet" in Norwegian) group.

Welcome to the TeamViewer Community, and thanks for reaching out! 👋

In the new interface, offline devices appear in the Offline group only when the Basic view is selected. When the Advanced view is enabled, all devices are displayed within their assigned groups, regardless of their status.

Please make sure the Basic view is selected in the Devices section:

Open Devices.
Select the View dropdown in the top‑right corner (as shown in the screenshot below).
Select Basic.

Once the Basic view is active, the Offline group will show only offline devices again.
