Remote Computers Requiring User Permissions to Access

Question

Did Teamviewer changed or pushed out an update that now requires remote computers or users to allow access to administrators? Computers/Servers/VM's we manage remotely that we are full admins on, are now requiring input from users on the terminal. And this just happened. 3 hours ago, I was able to log into a remote VM just fine and now it stopped.

Thanks for reaching out and for describing the behavior.

From your description, a good first step would be to check the Access Control settings on the affected devices (under Options → Advanced → Advanced settings for connections to this computer). Please make sure they are set to allow Full Access.

I’m having the same issue, has anyone gotten an answer as to how to fix this? Or is there an update?

I have been to both ends and made  adjustments as directed. I have installed and uninstalled repeatedly at both ends. I have checked both ends while in the same room and it don't work.

It seems that at the far end, the screen is screen locked (on time out), because when the far end screen is unlocked it works fine, as normal. When the screen locks to save energy, that locks the visibility.
