Remote Win10 desktop freezes after first or second mouse click

Hello,

On just one of my Win10 machines (Team Viewer 15, free), the remote computer freezes after the first or second click. The remote user still sees a live screen (i.e. their computer does not freeze), it is only on the remote side - I have to log off, log back in, and am then allowed another one or two clicks before the remote view freezes again.

This happens whether I use TeamViewer on my Win10 desktop or on the Android 10 phone.

Any ideas? Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

All help will be greatly appreciated.

    Hi @frauschlau

Could you try before the connection established to disconnect the keyboard cable of your computer or disable it from the device manager in the case of the laptop?

This is to identify if some keystroke is happening internally by the keyboard because of a fault keyboard, and with the mouse click has as result to freezes your session.

    Thank you and best regards

  • Hi @Vatsilidis

Thank you so much for taking the time to reply.

I tried that, but still no luck. I then tried logging out and back in to TeamViewer, then exited it and re-launched, then rebooted the machine a few times. Looks to be back to normal.

Will keep an eye on it and report back if the issue reoccurs.

    Thank you again!
