Thank you for your post.
If you wish to terminate your subscription, please submit a ticket at least 28 days prior to the renewal date. For more information, you can read this article:
you need to submit a support ticket giving 28x days notice.
I must admit it is the most antiquated way of doing things -its almost like they do that to trap people in for an extended period of time.
that plus they never tell what the renewal price will be until the actual renewal date is rubbish.
then they announce a price rise of between x% & y% on an amount you dont know and cannot confirm without actually calling them - absolute rubbish - the renewal process is a joke
I would like to cancel my subscription. I tried to inform by email on the last day but seem nothing happened. How could I cancel the auto subscription? If teamviewer did charge my account, how could I get a refund??
Cancellation requests must be received in written form, which is easiest via the ticket system: https://community.teamviewer.com/t5/Knowledge-Base/How-to-submit-a-ticket/ta-p/72027
Our support team answers calls and tickets in the order they are received as quickly and accurately as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding in advance.
I've tried at the end of last year to cancel my subscription by creating a support ticket.
Since then, i wanted to be sure the subscription was cancelled before doing my final payment.
My account got suspended before i could have the answer, and i just had to pay the fee from late payment, while not even being sure that my subscription is cancelled.
I haven't had that much difficulty cancelling a subscription in any service i've used ever.
I just want to cancel the subscription and be done with it.
Thank you for your post and welcome to our community 😊
I'm sorry to read what happened. Would you mind to send your ticket ID in a private message?
Wish you a great day.

i've sent you a message to know what i can do about it.
Would like to cancel my subscription.
I'm struggling with the same issue.
I tried to order a teamviewer remote control license, but I accidentally purchased a teamviewer meeting (Meeting Crew 50) license by mistake.
Can anyone help me to cancel my subscription for teamviewer meeting (Meeting Crew 50) license?
The invoice number and order number is [removed per Community Guidelines] and [removed per Community Guidelines] respectively.
Here is my ticket link for the cancel request : https://community.teamviewer.com/English/discussion/112829/please-cancel-my-subscription-for-teamviewer-meeting-license#latest
Please cancel my subscription immediately and refund the amounts you charged on March 30, 2021. Your link to submit a ticket is broken, making it impossible to cancel. See https://www.teamviewer.com/en/customer-support/. If you do not do this, I will explore all available options. Thank you.
Thank you for reaching out to us and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Please note that submitting a ticket requires a valid TeamViewer license. https://community.teamviewer.com/English/kb/articles/72027-how-to-submit-a-ticket
It seems like that your account has not been activated a license. In this case, you can call our support team.
Please reach out to them directly via local numbers found here: https://www.teamviewer.com/en-us/support/contact/
Hope this helps!
How come there is not an easy cancel button. You make it difficult to cancel subscriptions on purpose. THAT IS STRAIGHTOUT BS!!!!
Yes, I agree, They don't let you cancel and trick you into auto renew.
Cancel your auto subcription by unlinking your paypal or credit card
I have been through this several times. TV sent an email saying that they would auto-renew my subscription. I don't need it. I need to submit a ticket. But following the submit a ticket route just sends me down the rabbit hole of 'go to the community'. Does this company have any humans that can actually support customers?
Had a similar experience, any suggestions?
Thank you for your post, and welcome to the TeamViewer community!
In order to submit a ticket, you need to sign in with a licensed account:
Please ensure you are using the account you activated the license to.
If this is not possible, please contact our support teams directly via the phone for further assistance:
Thanks in advance.

This is ridiculous from such a large company. The email that is listed as a contact on PayPal is unmonitored! Such BS. I don't need Teamviewer now but next time I do I'll be looking for a different solution. Crooks
Ha ha @Esther what a load of BS....

It's like a scammy software company trying to stop leavers - far too simple to add a simple cancel button like any reputable business would...
Like some Insta diet selling scam
HI Tim - thanks for mentioning that the links in my post above are no longer working. I corrected them now and can confirm that they are linking to the correct articles again (please see my original posting above).
The reason for this is that the post has been made prior to the migration of this community to a new platform. For some reason did the automated forwarded of the article not work correctly.
So don´t worry - it´s nothing scammy and I apologize for the non-working link. Our goal was of course that all links keep on working after the platform migration.

thanks for the note but to be honest I still think teamviewer is scammy - Only a very dodgy outfit would make it so hard to cancel and to be contacted. Maybe your churn rate is so so awful you need to hang onto people until they learn how to get out. No company I would want to work for though. And, importantly for your folks as I am a buyer, no company I will ever buy from again.
Hi again Tim,
Sorry to hear that. I apologize that the cancellation process has been hard for you. Our goal is to make the whole process from using our software the first time until the very last day as comfortable as possible, but there seems to be room for improvements.
Rest assured that I will forward your feedback internally.
Thanks again for the time you took writing us your feedback!
I hope you will be using TeamViewer again one day in the future!
I wish to end my subscription but TeamViewer makes this so hard, there is a toll number which costs money, no email address to send a request. Unacceptable.
I wish to cancel my automatic renewal, how does this worj=k and why is it so hard to do so.
My case is similar, I have been trying to cancel my subscription and according I raised a ticket, they advised me to write a mail to some [personal information removed per community guidelines] and as my mail exchanges were happening, suddenly received one mail Thanking me for the order and they deducted my yearly subscription fees using Auto-Debit from my credit card.
I had never requested for Auto-Renewal nor have given my consent for Auto-Debit, now they are not even replying to my mails.
Can you please help me in this - I do not require the software and they have deducted the amount with informing me or taking my consent.

Need to cancel subscription -
I've been trying to cancel my account for several weeks, but it seems to be impossible. I saw one reference from another frustrated customer where they were asked to raise a support ticket to close an account. I've ended up here trying to do that.
How do I cancel my account?
I got an email that my license will overdue one month later and the system will renew the license automatically from my account. I do not want to renew it and I need to know how to prevent it been renewed?
