Participant has an old version of Team Viewer

We have paid license for Team viewer and set meetings that we reuse as weekly training meetings.  We often run into issues with our custoers not being able to be the presenter as we get a message about the participant has an older version of Team Viewer.

My question, and concern, is that they are running the Team viewer from our meeting invite.  How in the world do they get on an older version of Team viewer, if they are using our link which we may made from our Team Viewer version 15?  I do see that the link that gets made shows 14 in it. Is there an issue with how Team Viewer is making the invite?

I do use the template of :

Hello,

Please join the meeting, by clicking on this link:
@@URL:MID@@

Meeting ID: @@MID@@
@@PW:MEETINGTEXT@@

They get:

Hello,

Please join the meeting, by clicking on this link:
https://go.teamviewer.com/v14/

Thank you in advance for any help.  We do have this happen company wide.

Sincerely,

Zara

Re: Participant has an old version of Team Viewer

Same issue here - Outlook Addin is creating the invitation text with the wrong link but according to the settings in TV advanced custom invitation.

In addition to that - the password is not included in the invitation as well.
