I cannot type the partner ID in the partner ID field

in Linux only
I just installed teamviewer on Linux using the official .deb file and instructions. I am trying to type the partner ID but it looks like the field is disabled.
Any help would be appreciated it.

I had the same issue here on Linux Mint 20.3 MATE yesterday...
However I could use the "Insert partner ID" field in the top right of the window and hit "Enter".
But when trying today it worked again.
Very strange indeed.

However, I managed to make it work this way:
Options -> Advanced -> Advanced settings for connections to other computers (section) -> Access Control -> set it to Full Access

I am using free option.
I am not sure how to get partner ID.
Please advise.
