Hello,
My account as [removed per Community Guidelines] is unusable.
Please remove the 2 factor authentication as I have no idea what the 6 digit code is or just delete my account and recreate it.
Thank you
Hello @MarkAHaaseth
Thanks for your post.
The recovery code is provided as the last step of setup when you activate TFA to your account:
You are prompted to Download, print or copy the code using the three blue buttons provided.
Please know that this is the only way to deactivate Two-Factor Authentication from your account, as mentioned in the above-linked article.
That being said, if you no longer have access to the recovery code, you can email privacy@TeamViewer.com for further assistance in deletion of the account.
Hope this helps 🍀
No one?
Anyone?
I never had it in my authentication app and have no idea what the recovery code is.
Can you just remove the 2 factor authentication or delete my account and I can recreate it?
Hi @MarkAHaaseth,
Thanks for your post. Welcome to our Community! 😊
Responding to your question what the 6 digit code is : it is a 6 digit code shown in your chosen authentication app (e.g. Duo Mobile), in your smartphone.
what the 6 digit code is
If you do not have access to that smartphone, please use the recovery code to deactivate the two-factor authentication (TFA).
Does this answer your questions?
Best, Alena
