I have used TeamViewer for remote support for over 10 years. During that time I have never had any issue with performance or speed on remote sessions.
This year we changed our ISP and connection type, going from 100Mbps full fibre to gigabit fibre. Since then remote session performance has been really poor. We get laggy screen refresh and cursor, and if I transfer a file it can take minutes even for a small file of less than 1Mb. Previously I could transfer files over 1Gb in a few minutes.
The common factor is the change of ISP as the performance change coincided with that rollout. With the upgrade of bandwidth I'd expect no drop in performance, it should improve if anything. I've run speedtests at both ends of the connection and we're seeing expected upload, download and ping performance.
Are there any tools or logs to check TeamViewers connection? And is it possible the ISP has something within their provision that could affect TeamViewer?
