Hello TeamViewer Community,
Since updating to the latest TeamViewer version, I am experiencing a major issue with the search function in the "Devices" tab.
When I search for a specific string (e.g., "BVG"), the search results correctly display the Device Groups that contain this name. However, the groups appear empty in the search results list. The actual Devices (clients) inside these groups are not being shown, even though they definitely contain the search string in their names (e.g., "BVG - PC0001").
Behavior:
- Enter search term (e.g., "BVG").
- Groups named "BVG..." appear in the list.
- Expanding the groups shows no devices underneath them.
- The devices exist and are online; they just don't appear in the search results anymore.
Previous Behavior: In previous versions, this worked perfectly. The search would list both the matching groups and the matching devices within those groups.
Screenshot: I have attached a screenshot showing the search result where the groups appear but list no content.
It affects both "new" and "old" devices. PC and TeamViewer were restarted and I also logged of and on in the app.
