unable to migrate device

I'm unable to migrate the device; it's giving an error

Pending devices1 devices didn't migrate yet. Please make sure these devices are online so that the migration can be completed.

The device is online, TeamViewer is running, and I'm using the same device for migration. Please help resolve this issue.

Dear @Chisa_R Madam,

I don't have any license, as I'm using it for personal use and need to connect the said device frequently, and sometimes it connects and most of the time it says connection not allowed unless the device is migrated.

I cannot create a new account as this is the only account I'm using with other personal devices, also, I've been using TeamViewer since 2008, and I don't trust other software claiming to be an alternative to TeamViewer.

As there are ongoing legal proceedings initiated by me, I need to access the said devices frequently, and hence I request you to help resolve the issue on an urgent basis.

If you already have a license, please contact our support team for further assistance.

If you do not have a license:

If your current TeamViewer account is working without any issues, you can continue using it without worrying about migration.
However, if you are experiencing problems because the device cannot be migrated, we recommend deleting your existing account and creating a new one for a fresh start.

We hope that starting fresh provides a smooth and effective solution for you. 😊

Hi @tarkeshwar7,

Thank you for providing the detailed information!
Here are the next steps we recommend. Please follow them on the device you want to migrate:

In the device’s assignment section, click Remove to unassign the current account.
Click Remove all managers to clear all existing managers.
Return to the same section and select Manage this device> Enter the customer’s login credentials.

The device will now be correctly managed.

After this process, please try doing the automated migration and manual migration again.

The device is assigned to my account (screenshot attached)

I've tried both the automatic and manual methods, and both are giving the same error. The screenshots for the automated method are shared in my previous reply. I'm attaching the screenshots for the manual method, done just now again.

Please help resolve this issue urgently.

Thank you for the additional information and screenshots! Since you’ve already updated and restarted the TeamViewer application, we can now look more closely at the prerequisites and migration steps.

Is the relevant device assigned to your TeamViewer account?
A device must be assigned to your account before the migration process can begin. Please double‑check the following setting:
Go to the TeamViewer settings on the device you want to migrate → General → Account assignment → Assign to account…
Then complete the account assignment.

Manual migration

Previously, did you try the automated migration or the manual migration? If the automated method didn’t work, please try the manual method next. When you go through the steps in the article, please follow them carefully. If the process doesn’t progress as described, let us know which step you’re on and how what you’re seeing on your screen differs from the instructions in the article.

I tried all the steps, updating, restarting the service, and device migration, again just now, but the error still persists. Kindly help me resolve the issue urgently.
