Why did my session pwd change

Why did my session pwd change.

I got the PC id and pwd from my office PC and tried to use it on my laptop from afar and it tells me the session is over and now its a new pwd.

I thought once it gave me the pwd that it remains as long as the PC stays on.

Is that not correct?

If your device is using one of the random password options (6, 8, or 10 characters), please note that TeamViewer automatically changes these passwords regularly for security purposes. You can check the configuration in the settings as shown below.
