We have had a strange occurrence over the past few weeks where the TeamViewer service just disappears from some laptops. We have all laptops installed with Teamviewer_host and it has been working well for years with no issues.
However recently we have had several issues where the TeamViewer service just disappears from the list of services, Teamviewer is still installed on the device but the service is now gone which does not allow us to see the UAC prompts when trying to install software etc, this is causing major issues with remote workers.
Has anyone else experienced this? Im assuming its down to Teamviewer updating itself but not installing the correct version, i.e. see below an example where Teamviewer Service (15.75.4.0) is no longer detected:
