log in window doesn't launch

if I want to use TV with a single partner I have to uninstall, sign out/sign in, and re-install TV each and every time.
On my side, the partner window (below) with ID and pw will not launch after the 1st use.

Both of us have the current version and both are on HS.
He has no issue on his side.  When he launches TV, the ID/pw screen for single partner session launches every time.

I assume I have a setting wrong, though after uninstall/sign out/sign in/reinstall I can't believe anything remains, but....

Never use to have this issue with previous versions.

    Hi @metropical,

    Thanks for your message and welcome to our community. ?

    Please kindly check the operating systems supported by TeamViewer and the versions on both devices.

    If both operating systems are under support and latest TeamViewer versions are used, please try these steps:

    1. Exit TeamViewer or reboot the device
      • On Windows: Go to Connections -> Exit TeamViewer
      • On Mac: Go to TeamViewer -> Quit TeamViewer

    If it still does not work, I would recommend following the below instructions.

    1. Restart PC on both of device
    2. Uninstall TeamViewer from both devices. Please make sure, to also delete the reg-entries in your Windows: How to uninstall TeamViewer on PC  
      or How do I uninstall TeamViewer on my Mac? 

    Download TeamViewer afterward directly from our homepage and install it on the two devices again. Do not use any old Setup.exe.

    If this issue continues, could you please send through a screenshot of the error message? Hope this could help.
