Slow LAN connection on Teamviewer 15

Hello! I'm trying to make my Teamviewer on my laptop to work with LAN connections so I can lighten the load on my internet. But when I connect to it, it runs extremely slow and almost unusable.

I have allowed all the ports needed to be allowed through the firewall and using fast 5G wifi connection (ethernet isn't possible where I'm currently located) and I was wondering if anyone had a solution to the problem.

    Same issue here i live out in the middle of nowhere and have kali on one computer and fedora on my daily driver with the kali setup as a login on boot so I run it through my fedora computer. Both are hard wired into my main router all within a 5 ft space but the lag is 3-5 seconds at least and thats with teamviewer optimized for speed set on lan only.
