Ive tried reinstalling twice now on the unatended computer and the one remote controlling it and I still get this error. I never chose the option to use a custom module. This is very annoying I can hardly do anything on there without it timing out on me. then it makes me wait several minutes to reconnect. This is a poor choice, because if I like the software, I might buy it, if it is a pain to use, and I have to keep reinstalling it, and dealing with the problems to use it, then it doesn't make me want to buy it :(

Error Installation

Hi, 

I need help, I was wrong to check the lynch at the beginning of the installation and I put it for commercial use. But it is not so, but it is for personal and private purposes.

How can I fix this?
I've already tried uninstalling and rebuilding but nothing to do.

Teamviewer Licence

For a while now ive been having an issue connecting to my teamviewer because it says that it is suspected of being used commercially(how it only has my one PC), tonight i created another account hoping it would fix the issue, nope now it says the computer i am attempting to connect to has an expired trial.Im not trying to use any special editions just the free version yet im running into this problem.

Teamviewer trial version

Hello Team Viewer.

I have been using Team viewer since one year and a half ago and I always connected so about 3 computers remotely which are mine.

My question is why the program Team Viewer tells me that the trial has expired ? What trial ?

Team Viewer support told me that this program is free as long as I don't use it in business purposes and I don't do that.

Please kindly help me solve my problem.

Thought I downloaded Teamviewer Free

Mistakenly registered as company

Hi

I mistakenly installed TV as company. I do only use it for 10 minutes once a week with one single other computer.

So I opened a ticket asking the support to change my ID to private. This was 3 weeks ago. How long does this normally take?

Installed free, but now saying I have pro

I have 4 other PCs on the free verison and just installed my 5th and it seems to think I have the pro verison installed. I uninstalled and reinstalled with the personal verison and it is still saying I have "trial" luckly I was able to extened the trial 7 days. Does anyone know a fix for this? My other 4 "free" PCs are running fine.

yep - its suddenly started telling me commerical use detected.

they are quite welcome to come and visit my bedroom if they like and they will there that there is nothing commerical happening there!!!

I am only having issues on my new personal laptop. My parents live far away and I have to access their computers often. I am pretty usre that I selected personal use and it is still saying that my trial period has expired. No matter what I do, clean upt the registry, cookies, and change my ip address, it will not let me even access one time. Since I am a personal user only, i cannot open a ticket and I have not seen a solution on this as yet. Please advise.

Dear Teamviewer,

After using TS for free there was a suspection that I'm using this program commercially.

However this is not the case (I use the program privatly but often).

Why do I use this program? Whenever I'm traveling and I miss a film or serie to watch during my travels I'm logging onto my computer back home to transfer them. Also whenever I bought a new Steam game (gaming platform) I'm able to download this game on the go so that when I get home the game is ready to play.

There's no other reason why I'm using TeamViewer besides sneaking a peak through my webcam if  that my little brother is stealing my candy and soda's.

 

My question towards TeamViewer is to enable my IP so I can continue using this lovely program.

Hello, I have only six computers and one of the PC, teamviewer thinks i am using it commercially. You say to post a ticket with teamviewer logs, but a ticket can only be posted if one has commercial license!!! Please help

Missclick on business account

Hello,

Upon installing team viewer, I missclicked on business account and my trial eventually expired. I sent a ticket here about a week ago, but there hasn't been an answer yet. Is there something additional that I have to do in order to regain access to my team viewer?

Uninstalling and reinstalling wont help. Been there done That. even wiped all of TeamViewer out of registry. My computer says Manafacteur: " Hewlett-Packard Company". It says my trial version has expired. This happened when I upgraded to TV 12. This computer is my wife's and I used TV to check problems when out of town. Not any more! She doesent even use it.

Personal Use Verficiation for free

Hello,

I just submitted a form for TeamViewer personal use verification. And now I have received a response to either wait for sales to get back to me with pricing or post a support ticket.

So, here it is,  that I accidently selected Corporate or both option during installation and no matter how many times I re-install TV now, I still get the same expired status.

Please help me. I just the basic free version to use sometime.

Private use - Student

Hi!

I wounder if my usage is classified as "private use". I am a university student. I have a private computer at home, that I sometimes connect to from school, using my private iPad. I use this setup now and then if I need to use some software on my PC in my studies.

In my opinion this is not commercially use. As a student in sweden a do recive "study grants and allowance ". This is however not defined as a salary. Is it okay for me to use the "free" TeamViewer?

I have searched on the forum for an answer to this question but couldnt find what I was looking for.

I'm not an employee of TeamViewer, but my understanding of their terms is that yes, this would constitute "free" use.  Commercial licences are required if you are using TeamViewer in a business environment, such as my office, where I use TeamViewer to remote-access my colleagues' workstations, and support them in their day-to-day work as and when needed.
