Two-factor authentication for your TeamViewer account provides an extra layer of protection to secure your TeamViewer account from unauthorized access.
In addition to your password, a second factor (security code) is needed to log in to your TeamViewer account.
To log in to your TeamViewer account you need to enter:
Log in with your TeamViewer account at login.teamviewer.com.
Click Edit profile under your profile name.

Either install an authenticator app from your app-store or use one of these apps.

Note: Once you have activated two-factor authentication for your account, you will only be able to log in to TeamViewer 9 (or higher) and the TeamViewer Management Console.
The security code is generated by an authenticator app on your (mobile) device.
After activating two-factor authentication for your TeamViewer account, the app generates a temporary security code every 30 seconds. When you want to log in to your TeamViewer account, you have to enter the security code displayed on the app at this time.
